Extension Extractor: Extract installed Extensions and Apps
Extension Extractor is a Chrome add-on developed by Daniel Herr. This free tool allows users to extract installed extensions and apps from their Chrome browser. Currently in development beta, the extraction feature is only available for apps with permission to write to files and folders, as well as extensions with permission to manage downloads.
To access the extraction menu, users need to open the developer tools and click on the tab. The developer tools can be opened for any software by enabling dev mode on chrome://extensions, locating the desired item, and clicking on the inspect view button.
With Extension Extractor, users can conveniently extract and save their installed extensions and apps for backup or transfer purposes. This tool provides an easy way to manage and organize Chrome extensions and apps, ensuring that users can access their favorite tools whenever they need them.
